Michelle Bernstein

She won our hearts with her perky smile and her affinity for mouthwatering culinary creations. Though she was trained as a professional ballerina, Michelle Bernstein thankfully found her way to the kitchen and has been pleasing our palates ever since. The Miami native earned the James Beard Award for Best Chef: South, in 2007, for her work at her signature restaurant Michy?s. She has since authored a book, “Cuisine a Latina,” and opened more restaurants, including Sra. Martinez in the Design District and Michelle Bernstein at the Omphoy Ocean Resort in Palm Beach.
