Haute Event: 8th Annual Irie Weekend Recap

The 8^th annual Irie Weekend kicked off last Thursday, with an all-out private affair at an impressive Star Island residence. The Carnivale-themed celebration included fire performances, feather-embellished showgirls and festive acrobats who paraded through the party on stilts.

The following day, VIPs including Alonzo Mourning, Chris Kirkpatrick, Travis McCoy, Jonathan Vilma and Eddie Jones took to the Melreese Country Club for the New Era Celebrity Golf Tournament. Following the star-studded day on the course, the festivities continued at The Perry’s rooftop lounge.

And to close-out the action packed weekend, on Saturday night South Florida After–School All–Stars, Provider and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital hosted yet another A-list event at Lucky Strike Lanes. Notable guests in attendance included Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Udonis Haslem and Alonzo and Tracey Mourning. The evening ended at Arkadia Lounge at the Fontainebleau hotel for an after-party presented by BENCH.
