H&M to Open Two Pop-Up Sportswear Stores to Coincide with London Olympics

Swedish fashion retailer H&M will be opening two special pop-up sportswear-only stores in the UK this summer to coincide with the London Olympics.

The first store will open on July 6 for ten weeks in London’s Covent Garden neighborhood. It will feature women’s, men’s and children’s sportswear.

The second store will open in Westfield Stratford and will open on July 7.

H&M country manager for the UK and Ireland, Magnus Olsson, said, “It’s a nice surprise for our customers and a new twist on the H&M business concept of fashion and quality at the best price.”

If the pop-up stores are successful, H&M will consider making them permanent locations.
