Featuring desserts, local fruit and kids activities, the annual Pie Bake A’la Beverly Hills will take place at the Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market on June 10 along with Piesta, which will take place along the 9300 block of Civic Center Drive.

Both festivities are free to the public. A pie contest featuring pies made only with California fruit will take place and a distinguished panel and Star Foodie judges will select the winning pies. Pie-and-Burger will bring food trucks to the Market in order to sell numerous flavors of their world-famous pies.

Since the festivities are family oriented, there will be juggling by Mike, a “pieathelon” with a flour-sack toss, egg balancing and Crisco-covered balloon toss, pie making and decorating tables, pony rides and a petting zoo. Of course, there will also be a pie eating contest.
