Last week, haute shoe designer Jimmy Choo has opened its first San Francisco stand-alone boutique on Geary Street, which is the brand’s seventh retail location in California.

According to Johann Merino, Jimmy Choo’s marketing manager, the new boutique was designed to evoke a ‘boudoir-like feeling’ featuring colored tiles, tufted seating, cut-glass chandeliers and mirrors. With shoes lining the walls, the store also is selling a special black and silver glitter-encrusted iPad case for $495, an excluse for the new location on Geary Street.

The new Jimmy Choo stand-alone boutique is located in the former home of Betsey Johnson.

Jimmy Choo’s sparkling 4-and-a-half inch strappy sandal called the Vamp is an extremely popular choice at the moment since Kate Middleton was spotted wearing her pair at several recent occasions.
