Haute Fashion Daily: Louis Vuitton Taipei 101 Maison Special Order Tea Trunk
Specially created by Louis Vuitton in Asnieres, Paris, three tea trunks in Epi rainbow colors contain customized Chinese tea sets designed by Hsiao Fan Pottery Art. One of these magnificent tea trunks was transported from the museum archives in Asnieres for the opening of the Louis Vuitton Taipei 101 Maison opening.
The Louis Vuitton archives also include a highly coveted picnic trunk made of a material called Vuittonite that is resistant to all inclement weather. The picnic trunk can be placed on a car’s running board and can be fitted out according to customer preferences and desires. Often outfitted with pieces made from the finest materials such as silver, crystal, fine porcelain, tortoiseshell, horn and ivory, these haute picnic trunks are highly prized by Indian clientele.
