Haute Event: Moods of Norway Celebrates Third Anniversary On Robertson Boulevard

News | May 21, 2012

On Thursday, May 17, Moods of Norway celebrated the third anniversary of their Los Angeles store on famed Robertson Boulevard. Coinciding with Norwegian Independence Day, the brand truly exhibited their motto of “Happy Clothes for Happy People.”

The fashionable crowd drank VikingFjord Vodka cocktails and Champagne by Nicolas Feuillatte as well as ate delicious food from the awesome Border Grill food truck. Guests also took fun Viking themed pictures in an interactive photobooth while others danced to tunes spun by celebrity DJ Becka Diamond.

One of the designers, Stefan Dahlkvist, spoke of the importance of Norwegian Independence Day and how it was important to open their first US store on this date. He also talked about the brand’s success and expansion to other US markets like New York. Check out their jackets and blazers, which are his favorite pieces of the current collection. They have great labels like, “Made by pretty blonde girls.”
