A Smashing 10th Annual FedEx/St. Jude Angels & Stars Gala

The 10^th annual FedEx/St. Jude Angels & Stars Gala took place this past Saturday, May 19^th at the JW Marriott Marquis. Latin power couple and event chairs Juanes and Karen Martinez led the 50th anniversary celebration of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an event  presented by the Mosteiro Family and sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka.

Latin Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Juan Luis Guerra was this year’s honoree and received the 2012 “Al-Rashid Hope Award” for his unwavering commitment to providing resources to children in need in both the Dominican Republic and Latin America, focusing particularly in the areas of health, sports and education.

Gala founding chair, television personality and entrepreneur Daisy Fuentes was also recognized for supporting the gala since its inception. The smashing event included a cocktail hour, elegant dinner and was followed by a silent auction and after party.
