The world’s most expensive one-bedroom apartment is located in Tokyo and is priced at $21.8 million. Dubbed “The House”, this apartment features 4,434 square feet of living space and luxurious interiors.

At Haute Living we often cover expensive, luxurious mansions with multi-million dollar price tags, however, this property in Tokyo’s posh neighborhood of Minami-Azabu is only a one-bedroom apartment and the asking price is $21.8 million.

Laid out across 4,434 square feet of high-end prime real estate, this apartment’s asking price equals $4,920 per square foot. Despite it only featuring one bedroom, the apartment contains several other rooms and high-end interiors that clearly contribute to the asking price.

Each room is extremely spacious and the apartment features a Habaci-style kitchen for entertaining guests. All of the furniture in the home was custom designed by Cecotti Collezioni while the walls, floors and doors were all imported directly from Italy. Inside “The House”, you’ll find famous original Japanese artwork that was painted on sit, courtyards and terraces, a massive walk-in closet and even enough room for 200 pairs of shoes.
