Though originally slated to open this month, the Bulgari London Hotel has now announced they should be ready for guests just in time for the Summer Olympics and will be opening their doors on June 1.

According to the hotel’s website, the Bulgari Hotel & Residences, London is the first new luxury hotel to be built in London for 40 years. Once complete, the property will feature 85 spacious rooms and luxury suites, a Bulgari Spa set over two floors, a 25m swimming pool and Il Ristorante and Il Bar on site.

Hotel Chatter is now reporting that although the exterior of the hotel appears to be complete, the ground floor windows are still boarded up and there appears to be ongoing work happening in the guest rooms. Located steps away from Hyde Park, the Bulgari Hotel will have several competitors in close proximity, including the Mandarin Oriental, Jumeirah Lowndes & Carlton Tower and The Berkeley.
