Italian fashion house Brioni has announced the launch of their first sunglasses collection. The 15-piece collection will include laser-cut, hand-polished buffalo horn arms and anti-reflective Zeiss crystal lenses.

At a recent dinner in London, Brioni CEO Francesco Pesci told GQ, “Everything nowadays is ‘luxury’. For us, luxury cannot exist without quality.” The new Brioni sunglasses collection is both quality and luxurious – with the ability to bend to 180 degrees to minimize the risk of breakage and hand-polished buffalo horn arms, the glasses are treated to be both water and oil ‘phobic’.

Brioni’s creative director, Jason Basamijan, said that the sunglasses collection is, “the closest we could get to bespoke without doing special orders.”

The collection features 15 variants including, square or teardrop-shaped; brown, green or smoke lenses; gold, silver or gunmetal frames. All of the glasses are extremely slim with a horn-buttoned leather case.

The collection will be available in mid-May and priced from $790.
