California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom is getting a new national cable television talk show on Current TV, which he plans to use to share his made-in-San Francisco values.
Current TV is a liberal cable channel co-founded by former Vice President Al Gore. Newsom will host a weekly hour-long program during which he will chat up local notables.
