David Cameron, the U.K. Prime Minister, will be receiving a special iPad that has been commissioned specifically for him with a personalized app that will aid in his management of the country.

The special iPad that Cameron will receive will include an app that is reportedly going to cost £20,000 with a management dashboard that will allow him to have instant access to unemployment figures, crime statistics, NHS waiting lists and even the latest polling data. Developed to allow the Prime Minister to monitor the Government’s work, the app will eventually be made available to all voters.

The idea for the app was adopted from the private sector, where businesses use internal information to measure performance and this particular app will give Cameron easy access to news from each constituency through Google search trends and Twitter feeds of MPs and government officials.

The Prime Minister has made his iPad use public in the past, admitting to playing “Angry Birds.”
