The Most Expensive Home in San Francisco: Peter Sperling’s $38.5 Million Mansion

Located on Billionaire’s Row in San Francisco, Peter Sperling’s $38.5 million mansion has set the record for the most expensive home in the city. After several price cuts, the 3-story townhouse has still not received any buyers.

Apollo Group’s Peter Sperling owns the home, which he purchased in 2004 for $32 million. He renovated the original structure and then put it on the market for $64 million, but received no offers. The home is located in a prime area of San Francisco, on a street known as Billionaire’s Row. It features 21,88 square feet of living space, plenty of privacy and sweeping views of Mount Tamalpais, Marina, Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay.

It also has a seven-car garage with automatic door system, Italian tile roofing, four specially constructed fireplaces, a home theater, a library, a gym and areas indoors and outdoors allocated for sports.
