Say “I Do” in Beautiful Bora Bora

News | March 15, 2012

When people think about the perfect place to honeymoon, Bora Bora often comes to mind. Moonlit walks on the beach while palms sway in the wind exude romance. Now that foreigners are allowed to marry in French Polynesia, the paradise is quickly becoming one of the most sought out destinations for weddings as well. The Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora was proud to become host to the first foreign wedding on Bora Bora in 2010, a year after the law had passed and have since seen many couples say their vows.

In the past, non-resident couples had to apply for a visa and complete a 30-day residency before the ceremony could take place. The only requirement now is to file papers with City Hall 45 days in advance, send out their invitations and pack their bags…Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora will take care of the rest.
