Natalie Portman’s Oscar Gown Sells for $50,000

Natalie Portman may have received mixed reviews for the vintage Christian Dior dress she wore at this year’s Academy Awards but there was one fashion fan who must have really loved it.

The red polka-dotted gown from 1954, borrowed from couture dealer Rare Vintage, recently sold for $50,000 on 1stdibs.com.

According to the New York Post, an unknown British couture collector in London purchased the size-4 creation worn by Portman.
