Matsuri and Hiro to Auction off Pieces of NYC Restaurant History

Now defunct New York institutions Matsuri Restaurant and Hiro Ballroom may be closed but their design legacy will be preserved; in well decorated homes throughout the city. Décor staples from both locales are up for auction. To be held in The Maritime Hotel, the owners of the two venues will hold a live auction of both eateries’ contents Wednesday, April 4 commencing at 2 p.m.

In this special chance for bidders to purchase a remnants of New York City restaurant history, both venues will completely liquidate their physical settings. Bidders can expect items from massive handmade Japanese lanterns, down to flatware and flooring.
