John Varvatos Hosts Launch of Commando: The Autobiography of Johnny Ramone

If there’s one thing we learned from interviewing John Varvatos for his profile in the current Haute Living New York issue, it is that his love for rock ‘n’ roll inspires all areas of his life. As such, it feels entirely appropriate that he should host the launch of Commando: The Autobiography of Johnny Ramone. And he did just that.

The fete was in celebration of the late Johnny Ramone, the Ramones’ guatarist, and his posthumously-published autobiography. It was held last night at the John Varvatos boutique on Bowery–indeed the ideal backdrop for a party of rock ‘n’ roll nature. In attendance were Bebe Buell, Linda Ramone, Johln Cafiero, Tommy Ramone, Mick Rock, Bob Gruen, and, of course, Mr. Varvatos.
