Haute Event: Paolo Zampolli’s 42nd Birthday Bash at Provocateur

Real estate mogul Paolo Zampolli rang in his 42nd year in true haute style. Well-heeled friends including Haute Living’s Seth Semilof, Ana Beatriz Barros, Jeisa Chiminazzo, Russell Simmons, Sean Stone, Sean Avery and several UN ambassadors came out for the festivities on Mar. 8.

Zampolli’s celebratory bash was held at Meatpacking District nightclub Provocateur. The gatekeepers of this notoriously difficult door were not your average NYC bouncer; as part of the festivities two adorable Bengal tiger cubs stood outside to greet Zampolli’s guests. Partygoers were not allowed to hold the endangered animals, but were able to pose for photos with them and encouraged by their handlers to donate to the Global Tiger Fund in their honor.

Friends from Zampolli’s ventures in the model business; real estate and diplomatic endeavors gathered as the furry guests were held by the handlers on Provocateur’s stage. Meanwhile, violinist Miri Ben-Ari performed for a delighted crowd after a delicious dinner. Finally, DJ Roger Sanchez entertained Zampolli and his friends through to the early morning in the club area.
