Oprah Lists NYC Condo for $7.9 Million

Oprah listed her NYC penthouse in the uppity Place 57 building, which was reportedly purchased by Oprah’s best friend Gayle King in 2008 for $7.1 million, but was later said to actually be bought by Oprah herself.

It remains unclear which part of the BFF duo actually lived in the condo–some reports say Gayle possibly acquired the home under an LLC, or if the television mogul did, in fact, dwell there. Regardless, the 2,500-square-foot apartment on the 36th floor boasts three bedrooms–including the master with three walk-in closets and a Jacuzzi tub–it has three and a half baths, floor-to-ceiling windows and nearly 800 square feet of terrace space.
