New York Fashion Week: Prabal Gurung Fall 2012
It has been 3 days since New York City’s Mercedes-Benz has come to a conclusion and people are still talking about one of the hottest shows by popular up and coming designer, Prabal Gurung.
Gurung is the well known designer of a dress that was sported on the red-carpet by actress Zoe Saldana, who was also in attendance. Last week saturday on February 11 at the IAC, Gurung showcased his designs for Fall 2012. The collection seemed to be a creative split between night and day.
The show was concluded with a few beautiful gowns which in my opinion seemed to be fit for any extravagant occasion ranging from the red carpet, to a ball or a wedding . His breath taking designs inquired feathers, golden and metal collars and bracelets, belts, hats and and artistic pins which seemed to hold the designs of insects. It seems that this season he has inquired a great emphasis on his fiery blues as well as black, white and gold. It is not question that Gurung has gone all out this season with his very creative and astonishing designs. Each and every one of his looks have been deemed flawless!
