Now Available: Exclusive MotoGP “Day of Stars” Tickets

Before 2012 MotoGP events open at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in July, 50 lucky fans will meet headlining drivers, tour the track and enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes access to pre-race preparations.

Riders for Health, an international nonprofit and the official MotoGP charity, has partnered with track officials to present this year’s “Day of Stars” fundraiser on Thursday, July 26. Just 50 tickets are available for the day-long event, a motorcycle fan’s dream that offers a rare look at the racing world while supporting efforts to improve health care access in Africa.

Ticketholders will start their day with a VIP breakfast at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca’s famed turn four. From there, guests depart for a motorcycle tour of postcard-pretty Carmel Valley. Following lunch with 13-time Grand Prix winner and Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame member Randy Mamola, spectators move to the track for an insider’s tour of the pit lane.

The day continues with motorcycle laps on the track and a meet-and-greet session with team managers and MotoGP riders. Select racers will also sign autographs during a live auction featuring MotoGP memorabilia. In the past, Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden, Wayne Rainey and Kenny Roberts have stopped by to chat with Day of Stars guests.

To purchase one of 50 Day of Stars tickets ($375 of the $500 ticket price is tax deductible), call Lisa at 312-373-1447 or order online at www.MazdaRaceway.com. The purchase of Day of Stars tickets includes VIP parking throughout MotoGP weekend (admission to MotoGP events must be purchased separately).
