Oscar award-winning actress and producer Jodie Foster has just sold her seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom Beverly Hills estate for $8.3 million.

Known for her starring roles in films like “Silence of the Lambs,” “Panic Room,” “Taxi Driver” and more recently “The Beaver,” Jodie Foster listed her home in April for $9.975 million and quietly closed recently for $8.3 million. According to reports, Foster purchased the home in 2005 for $10.5 million.

The home features red brick accents on almost an acre of land. The main house was built in 1949 and has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. There is also a two-bedroom guest house on the property, a tennis court and a swimming pool.

Foster, 49, was born in Los Angeles and has appeared in more than 76 films. In total, she has won 40 awards including two Oscars. In 1989 she won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Roll for the 1988 film “The Accused” and won the same award two years later for her role in the 1991 film “Silence of the Lambs.”
