Shula Burger Will Open On Islamorada This Week
Shula Burger, part of former Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula’s restaurant domain, will open at the remodeled Holiday Isle on Islamorada on Thursday. The resort is now called the Postcard Inn Resort and Marina at Holiday Isle, after the $10.5 million renovation by owner Starwood Capital Group.
Starwood owns two other hotels, in Houston and Fort Lauderdale, that contain Shula’s locations—so the third joint venture should open with ease. This installation of the burger chain will have a trendier vibe—with a full-service bar (whereas the others are wine and beer only), breakfast service, and an edgier vibe at night. Shula Burger has two more locations in the works in South Florida.
