Rafele: New Rustic Italian Restaurant in West Village

News | December 20, 2011

Zagat reports that chef Raffaele Ronca left Cornelia Street’s Palma to open shop in the 900 Degrees space at 29 Seventh Avenue in the West Village.  The “rustically elegant” Italian restaurant to be called Rafele–a shortened version of the chef’s name–will reflect more than just the chef’s name.  It will feature a custom-made Acunto brick oven and rotisserie form his native Italy.

The restaurant, which will seat 70 inside and 30 outdoors once the weather permits, is slated to open in Mid-February.
