Four Seasons Maui Collaborates With Italian Designer Missoni

Lounging poolside at the posh Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is one thing, but imagine reclining in an oceanfront cabana inspired by internationally acclaimed Italian fashion designer Missoni.

Missoni is partnering with the luxury resort and its retailer, Seaside Luxe, to carry its full line of Missoni Home Decor.

Starting in January, the resort, nestled along the picturesque Wailea Beach, will feature two Missoni-inspired cabanas at its Serenity Pool, with another lounge displayed in front of the resort’s 22 Knots boutique.

“We embrace the idea of bringing together the best of premiere forward-thinking luxury merchandise, exclusive resort location and service, and the world-renowned Italian brand,” says Mark Simon, marketing director of the resort.

Missoni is best known for its knitwear featuring a range of patterns — namely geometrics, stripes and the iconic kaleidoscope — using fabrics such as wool, cotton, linen, rayon and silk. Missoni Home was added to the company’s line in 1983.
