Longines Ambassador Andre Agassi to Host Tennis Competition at Shreve & Co.

Andre Agassi—tennis legend, philanthropist, and Longines ambassador of Elegance—teamed up with the Swiss watch brand and esteemed Palo Alto jeweler Shreve & Co. to host a fast serve contest followed by a Q&A session with USTA junior players on Nov. 30 at the Stanford Shopping Center.

Andre Agassi was chosen as a brand ambassador for Longines in 2007 because his pursuit of perfection echoes that of the watchmaker’s; Agassi turned pro at age 16, earned 60 men’s singles titles, was the first male player to ever win all four Grand Slam titles and an Olympic title.

The fast serve contest will feature 20 of the top ranked femaile junior players from the USTA’s Northern California division and the winner will get to compete in the Longines Future Tennis Aces in April 2012.  Other tennis happenings include a smash court for a small donation and the Q&A which will address the importance of education and the goals of Agassi’s foundation.  Guests will, of course, be able to view Longines’ collection of stunning watches on display at Shreve & Co—including special edition Longines Master Collection Moon Phase “Andre Agassi” watch. 100 percent of the proceeds from the one of a kind timepiece will be donated to the Longines Elegance Scholarship Fund.
