News | November 27, 2011

Jamie Oliver; chef, restaurateur and personality from “Naked Chef” and “Food Revolution” was in L.A. last week to raise money for his Food Foundation. His charity is aimed at empowering, educating and engaging people to love and enjoy “good food”. Oliver, who has a dozen restaurants in the U.K. has become very well-known in the U.S. in recent years. During this fundraising trip, he revealed that he plans to open up shop in L.A. sometime “in the next few years”.

Chef Jamie Oliver made headlines trying to remove all processed foods from schools and butted heads with the Los Angeles Unified School District, which would not allow him to film this effort for his reality series “Food Revolution” in its schools. It looks like he holds no grudges against the city of angels.
