The inaugural Napa Valley Film Festival announced its Opening Night Gala and celebrity Tribute Night are set to take place on Nov. 10 and Nov. 12 respectively.

The Gala on Nov. 10, to be hosted by Margrit Mondavi at the Robert Mondavi Winery Estate in Oakville, will feature dishes from Napa Valley’s premier chefs—including guest chefs such as Jeffrey Jake (Silverado Resort); Robert Curry (Auberge du Soleil); Victor Sargle (Bardssono) amongst others selected by the event’s Culinary Director, Bob Hurley of Hurley’s.  These dishes will be expertly paired with Robert Mondavi reserve wines for the more than 200 writers, directors, producers, and actors attending.

Then on Sat., Nov. 12 at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville, the Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) will honor Golden Globe and Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor Jeffrey Wright with a Humanitarian Award for his work with the Taia Peace Foundations as well as his accomplished acting career.  Judy Greer will also be honored, with NVFF’s “Spotlight On” Tribute for her work in the film industry.  Clips from both honorees work will be featured as well as an on-stage interview by Access Hollywood host Billy Bush.
