In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the formation of the United Arab Emirates, BMW revealed plans to launch a limited edition 7-series model.  The German automaker will produce only 40 cars in this special series—to be sold through two Emirates BMW dealers: AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors.

What will set this BMW 750Li form from the classic?  Each of the 40 cars built for the occasion be marked by an exclusive Marakesh Brown exterior color.  The interior will be made from Merino Platinum leather and the UAE emblem will be embroidered on the headrests, iDrive button, and other areas.  The rear chrome trim will read ’40 years UAE limited edition’.

The commemorative vehicle, which will feature a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, will debut at the Dubai Motor Show 2011.  BMW will unveil the exclusive BMW 7-series “Steinway & Sons Edition” at the same show to take place on Nov. 10-14, 2011.
