BMW to Release 2012 1 Series in Singapore

BMW revealed plans to release the highly anticipate BMW 1 series—two models; the BMW 116i and BMW 118i—in Singapore in the very near future.

This will be the second generation in the BMW 1 series family.  Differences to be expected with the improved generation of premium compacts include and enhanced driving pleasure, with a better balance between sportiness and driving comfort; greater functionality, and a number of driver assistance programs that were previously unavailable in this segment.

Other improvements, according to BMW officials, include state-of-the-art engine and suspension technology, further improvements in fuel efficiency, and more interior space. Both the BMW 116i and BMW 118i will be powered by fuel-efficient 1.6-liter petrol engines and will be powered by BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology.
