Stuart Weitzman Honored for 25 Years of Style in Paris

On Wednesday October 12, Shoe Designer Stuart Weitzman is being honored in Paris by Charles H. Rivkin, the Ambassador of the United States to France, to celebrate the brandʼs 25 years of style.  Ambassador Rivkin and his wife, Ms. Susan Tolson, will host a festive cocktail reception, attended by celebrity guests and VIPS at the American Embassy.
During the event, Ambassador Rivkin and his wife will recognize Stuart Weitzman as an American designer who has significantly contributed to the world of fashion on a global level.
From the beginning, Stuart Weitzman made his mark on the fashion industry with fashion forward styles, incredible high heel pumps and evening sandals. Renowned for towering stilettos and sexy silhouettes, Stuart Weitzman built his success on the unique combination of fashion and comfort in luxury high heel pumps women could wear from day to evening. Celebrities have been seen in Weitzman’s designs for years.
On display at the event will be the limited edition platform, “Heritage”, designed by Stuart Weitzman to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the brand.  It is based on a historical shoe designthat Stuartʼs father, Seymour Weitzman, patented in 1936.  The platform features colorful snakeskin detail and goose-bump calfskin straps and is available exclusively at Stuart Weitzman retail stores worldwide.
Over the past 25 years, Stuart has developed a dedicated celebrity following wearing his designs to award shows and many other high-profile events. Fans of the brand include Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Eva Medes, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba, Leighton Meester, Eva Longoria and Katie Holmes.
