Wynwood Kitchen & Bar Appoints Miguel Aguilar as New Executive Chef

Miami hotspot Wynwood Kitchen & Bar (WKB) welcomes a new executive chef, Miguel Aguilar.

Chef Aguilar was selected after a nation-wide search, and was undoubtedly chosen for his creativity and experience. The Venezuelan chef boasts an impressive resume, including work at Doug Rodriguez’ Alma de Cuba; catering chef for the venerable Stephen Starr and opening chef for El Rey Restaurant, all in Philadelphia.

WKB, a Goldman Properties restaurant, serves American brasserie cuisine with a side of urban art. Inside, the restaurant showcases paintings and other artworks as unique décor that represents the area’s patrons and ambiance. Outside, diners are surrounded by Wynwood Walls, Goldman Properties’ art park.

A new menu will be offered later this summer and will feature specials by Chef Aguilar and a variety of small plates. Guests can count on discovering a Latino twist on classic American dishes.

Enjoy Chef Aguilar’s cuisine alongside a pick from WKB’s bevy of drink options. Choices include a glass off the international wine list, a list of artisanal beers and artist-inspired cocktails.
