2012 Porsche Carrera 911 Series
Porsche is introducing the new generation of the 911 series of sports coupes that will be showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show during September 15-25. The “completely new generation” of the ever so popular coupe, the Carrera, will feature a 100mm longer wheelbase ensuring improvement in stability as well as a lower roofline and wider frontage. The aluminum-steel composite makes for a lightweight body- 45 kg lighter than the previous models. Following its unveiling, the model will go on sale in December of 2011. Eager to get to the front of the finish line? Carrera aficionados can begin placing orders come September 1st. Prices in Germany are 88,038 euro for the 911 Carrera and 102,436 euros for the 911 Carrera S.
