Marisa Miller Hosts Captain Morgan’s 376th Birthday Bash
First Mate Marisa Miller is throwing a legendary bash, co-hosted by Maxim, to celebrate the Captain’s 376th(ish) birthday at Public House this Friday, May 13 from 10 pm- 2 am.
Since 10/10/10, hundreds in attendance watched as Miller debuted the world premiere of “Welcome to the Captain’s World,” a video introducing the new Marisa Miller-inspired Captain Morgan marketing campaign. The pair have spent months traveling the country and raising nearly $500,000 for their First Mate Fund, which benefits charitable initiatives that support responsible drinking. The Windy City edition kicks off a weekend of coast-to-coast birthday celebrations, as the Captain’s friends raise a glass to his birthday in 13 cities across the country – because when you’re more than three decades old, one party just won’t do.
Attendees will get a sneak peek at the new Captain Morgan “To Life, Love, Loot” commercial, directed by Academy Award-winning director Tom Hooper. For the first time ever, the campaign delves into the mystery and intrigue surrounding real-life privateer Captain Henry Morgan.
