Louis Vuitton Joins Chanel Pop-Up on La Croisette in Cannes

Lights…camera…fashion!

Fashion and film are coming together once again for the shutterbugs of Cannes Film Festival which launches tomorrow.  The bourgeois-barren boulevard, La Croisette has yet another pop-up shop to offer.  Alongside Chanel’s ephemeral outpost, Louis Vuitton will also offer a version of flash-fried fashion—quick and oddly satisfying.

Louis Vuitton’s Magasin Ephemere is currently open for business, and located immediately adjacent to its parent store in Cannes.  From le chic to le freak, the French luxury brand’s temp-shop will be a certain crowd pleaser, displaying morsels of films, leashed tigers, and festival-fitting eveningwear showcased via three themes centered around the prestigious two-week event, Cocktail Party by the Pool, Iconic Evening, and Evening Grand Soir.

“Our new Cannes pop-up store, embedded in the Festival and Côte d’Azur ambience, brings an alternative and exceptional offer to our clients visiting Cannes during the Festival as well as during the summer,” said Yves Carcelle, president, chairman and ceo of Louis Vuitton, according to Vogue. “We are glad that our pop-up store will be part of the Croisette landscape, reinforcing our link with the world of cinema and creation.”
