Surrealism Graphics Exhibition Unveils in Moscow

If you happen to be in Moscow, it’s the best time to engage with some extravagant art pieces! Must-see exhibition The Collective Unconscious: Graphic Works of Surrealism from de Chirico to Magritte was unveiled on Tuesday in State History Museum. It is organized by InArtis Project. Visitors will have a chance to revel in their favourite surrealist paintings and graphics till 25 April.

The exhibition includes works by genius masters of Surrealism. The colourful fantasy of Salvador Dali, passion of De Chirico, or wild inhabitants of Magritte’s world – the diverse choice of art objects showcased will become a real treat for devoted art lovers. All the represented works were selected by InArtis Gallery. The core of the display is the retrospective of drawings by Rene Magritte.

The pinnacle of the exhibition is the engraving Mannequin reflecting one of the main images in Giorgio de Chirico’s creativity.

The exhibition aim to demonstrate the development of the visual concept of Surrealism from the very start of surrealist images to the further development of the now distinct movement

The exhibition will help visitors to understand the magical world of an artist’s inner life and see the evolution of one of the most culturally significant art movements of the 20th Century.
