Save the Date: For the Kid in All of Us Presents Project Prom

For the average American teenager no rite of passage is more important than prom. From the moment freshmen set foot in high school hallways until their junior year when they are finally able to host their own themed event, prom consumes their spring time thoughts right along with spring break and summer vacation. Knowing how monumental this event is for teenagers in the Atlanta area who cannot make their prom dreams come true on their own, For the Kid in All of Us plays fairy godmother by presenting the first annual Project Prom.

Benefitting local underprivileged teens this exclusive cocktail party, brought to you by the same team behind Toy Party and Backpack in the Park, will feature amazing music, food, drinks and of course a fashion show featuring refashioned formal wear. With the expertise and of local designers Vincent Martinez, of Grady High’s Urban Couture program, and Jason Bunin, Authentic Beauty and Becca’s Closet, this event is sure to arouse the prom fantasies in all of us.

Taking place on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. on the top floor of the W Midtown Atlanta and will be hosted by radio personality Kaedy Kiely, Project Prom will prove that fairy tales aren’t the only places where dreams can come true.
