Haute Event: Nolet’s Launches World’s Most Expensive Gin at NY Plaza Hotel

It was a throwback to old New York last night, as VIPs filled the Rose Club at the Plaza Hotel to welcome the U.S. launch of a new premium gin. Nolet’s launched their Silver Dry Gin, a unique spirit that isn’t your typical gin. Its fruit forward flavor and aroma of botanicals made for some light and fresh cocktails to go along with passed hors d’oeuvres for the VIPs invited to taste the gin.

The company also launched their super-premium $700 bottle of Nolet’s Reserve gin, making it one of the most expensive gins on the market. The beverage is a sipping gin with aromas of a variety of spices and botanicals. Every batch of the Reserve is distilled and bottled at the Nolet Distillery in Schiedam, Holland; the distillery uses a recipe perfected over four decades by the owner, and will only be available for sale in limited quantities in the U.S.
