Haute Treatment: New Spring Spa Treatments at the Island Hotel

For some real spring cleaning, you deserve to treat yourself to a few treatments that’ll slough off the winter dull-drums and get you radiant and ravishing for spring. After all, what’s the point of cleaning your closet and making room for the new collections if your skin is looking dull and weather worn? The Island Hotel is debuting two new treatments just in time for the seasonal shift — and any of your new shift dresses. Trust us, one visit and you’ll be glowing.

Debuting April 1 and available through May 31, the Spring Body Scrub is a highly effective way to slough off Winter dullness. During the treatment, arms and legs are gently and expertly exfoliated using The Spa’s exclusive combination of Dead Sea Salts, orange and lemon peel, and rosemary. In addition to the full-body treatment, the sloughing also includes a gentle, soothing citrus-herb oil face and head massage. This particular treatment is $230 for 90 minutes.

Also available is the Rosy Glow Facial. A regenerating and rejuvenating treatment that promises to nourish, vitalize, mineralize and increase elasticity, the Rosy Glow is especially suitable for both those dealing with premature aging or those with aging skin. The pampering facial is enhanced by the wonderful scent of organically grown, handpicked and hand-processed aromatic roses. The facial is $140 for 60 minutes.

Whichever you choose (or both for the truly indulgent) you’re sure to get your glow on. Bikini ready, shorts ready and sun ready, you’ll be shining brighter than anyone else.

The Island Hotel is located at 690 Newport Center Dr., in Newport Beach. For more information on the spa treatments or to book a spa appointment, call 949.759.0808. For more information on the Island Hotel, visit their official web site at www.islandhotel.com.
