Gibsons Hosts 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawk Chopper Auction
Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse in downtown Chicago will host the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks Chopper on Thursday, March 24. Chicagoans will have a chance to purchase raffle tickets for this custom bike built by Paul Teutul Sr. of Orange County Choppers during the event. Scheduled to appear is NHL Legend Jeremy Roenick; the first fifty individuals who purchase raffle tickets will receive an autographed picture of Jeremy Roenick. The Blackhawks logo is displayed on the gas tank, which is autographed by players and coaches of the Stanley Cup Championship team. The bike’s rims emulate hockey sticks and pucks and the handlebars depict the taped end of a hockey stick.
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Chicago Blackhawk Charities, the Orange County Choppers Foundation and the Special Kids Network. Chicago Blackhawk Charities supports programs and institutions throughout Illinois that work toward creating a better tomorrow for the youth. An independent non-profit organization, the Special Kids Network was created to provide funding for programs that help children and young adults with special needs. The philanthropic arm of Orange County Choppers, the OCC Foundation designs tribute bikes and undertakes charity builds in support of families in need, American men and women in the armed services, and others.
