A Holiday Fete for Professionals
Professionals unite! The Aloha Chapter of Meeting Professionals International will host a holiday soiree and fundraiser this Thursday evening, December 9 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Waikiki Edition Hotel. The event will feature elaborate design, delectable cuisine by chef Kaleo Adams and complimenting cocktails by local master mixologist, Christian Self.
Guests will nibble on Mac and Cheese fritters, Dungeness Crab Cakes, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Tuna Tartare while sipping on the featured libation, The Rose Collins, a simply elegant drink of Hendricks Gin, fresh lemon, sugar and rare rose essence.
A “Pick-a-Prize”Drawing for $10 a ticket will take place with amazing prize packages featuring a chance to win such SWAG like a Pro Bowl Package including tickets and an overnight stay at the Turtle Bay Hilton Resort, overnight stays at Hawaii’s finest luxury hotel’s and resorts through out the entire island chain featuring the Waikiki Edition Hotel, Four Seasons Maui at Wailea and The St. Regis Princeville Resort in Kauai. The Royal Hawaiian Hotel (that infamous pink property) is offering up dinner at Azure and a spa service with their special. Enjoy dinner and a massage or facial treatment at the Kahala Hotel and Resort or drive to the west side of Oahu for a 2-night stay at the Ihilani and a scuba adventure with Snorkel Bob. In addition to mixing with esteemed professionals and enjoying the festivities at the hip Waikiki Edition Hotel the main mission of this event is for attendees to come together and raise a glass and some funds to a good cause. This years event will benefit Project Visitation which was created by the State of Hawaii’s First Circuit Family Court and the Department of Human Services to provide monthly visits and special events for siblings separated by the foster care system. Project visitation seeks to minimize the trauma of family separation due to abuse and neglect by preserving sibling relationships through visits. By bringing brothers and sisters together in a fun and safe environment, Project Visitation volunteers give these children the opportunity to create family memories they otherwise wouldn’t have.
