Grand Opening: Angelina’s Yogurt & Coffee In Midtown

News | November 3, 2010

Angelina’s Yogurt & Coffee has officially opened as the yogurt and coffeehouse destination in Midtown Miami. The shop features one-of-a-kind, bold frozen yogurt and organic coffee creations, offering a place to rev up your mornings, cure your sweet tooth, or relax in a quaint, laidback environment that mirrors the artistic vibe of the neighborhood.

Located on the ground floor of Midtown 2 next to Primo Pizza, Sweet Times and The Cheese Course, Angelina’s Yogurt & Coffee depicts a sun-soaked coffeehouse, featuring a warm copper tone décor, friendly wait staff and an upbeat setting showcasing contemporary works on display by local artists. For those on the go, Angelina’s also offers a pick-up window to grab a quick cup of Joe or an afternoon snack.

Offering an authentic approach to ‘true’ coffee culture, the coffeehouse serves fresh organic Colombian coffee, roasted in Sarasota a few days before serving, and available in a variety of traditional and specialty flavors. From chai lattes to custom frappes and local favorite Cuban coffee, Angelina’s fulfills the caffeine needs of the most discriminating “coffee nuts.”

Gourmet, frozen yogurt and healthy dessert options are also generating a buzz inside the coffeehouse. Made with the finest, pro-biotic and kosher ingredients, more than a handful of flavors are available, with both permanent and interchanging selections, including peanut butter, raspberry tart, pumpkin and more. A self-serve toppings bar filled with an assortment of over 40 health and sweet varieties allows yogurt fanatics to enjoy their cup of yogurt with as many toppings as they desire, including fruits, nuts, chocolate, cereals and candies. Topping out at 33 calories per ounce, Angelina’s frozen yogurt allows guests to sacrifice endless calories, but not good taste.

Health-conscious and guilt-free desserts are also available such as portion-size tarts, croissants, cookies and cupcakes. Made-to-order waffles, available by ounce, provide another alternative where customers can select the toppings and yogurt of their choice to accompany the flaky delicacy.

For those desiring a cold beverage, freshly-made fruit smoothies are available for breakfast as well as for nutrition with protein and body building supplements. Angelina’s also offers tea lovers a selection of fine teas and specialty drinks.

Angelina’s Yogurt & Coffee, located at 3451 NE First Ave. (Midtown Boulevard) in Miami, is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
