Chris Bosh Supports The Troops With Charity Gala

News | November 18, 2010

On Sunday, November 21, Miami Heat star Chris Bosh will host the Inaugural  “Chris Bosh Home Strong “Celebrity Gala” event at the Fontainebleau Hotel to benefit Home Strong. The goal of Home Strong is to identify and support existing non-profit programs that currently provide services to returning veterans and explore ways of supporting their efforts to ensure the continued provision of such services to the veterans and their families.

Since the 2006-2007 – Season, 3 – 4 returning United States servicemen and servicewomen have been invited to the American Airlines Arena as a personal guest of Miami HEAT President, Pat Riley. The name Home Strong was created by Pat following the “15 Strong” playoff motto during the 2006 Championship playoffs.

This exclusive dinner will kick off with a surprise musical performance and throughout dinner guest can bid on live auction items that will include sports memorabilia and other notable items. Guest will also be treated to live music from a military band. Select Guests and Sponsors will attend pre-event meet and greet prior to event.
