Superdy USA Opens Store in Westfield San Francisco Centre
Yesterday marked the launch of Superdry USA’s third American store in the Westfield San Francisco Centre in downtown San Francisco. Though the sportswear retailer has locations in over thirty countries, it has just recently expanded past their UK base to open two United States locations, in both Los Angeles’ Beverly Centre and downtown Manhattan just a few months ago. Though San Francisco is their most recently venture, they ambitiously plan to unveil a new Superdry USA store each month over the course of the next year.
Superdry sportswear is known internationally for their blending of vintage materials with a dash of Japanese flair into their collection of men’s and women’s hand-drawn graphic t-shirts, rugged plaids, leather bombers, cargo pants, retro vintage hoodies, and accessories. The brand is popular with UK celebrities and has been spotted on such stars as David Beckham, Jude Law, and Kate Moss. Recently, Justin Bieber has been seen at multiple events sporting Superdry’s Brad Leather Jacket, proving further that their popularity is expanding in the US. With such strong international recognition and growing American presence, Superdry is sure to flourish in the United States.
