Savor the Tastes of Autumn with the Flavors of Fall Seasonal Menus at the MGM Grand

You may end up spending the next couple months dining at the MGM Grand. Twelve restaurants there are serving up the MGM Flavors of Fall, a cornucopia of seasonal menus at special prices. These fall menus feature the best ingredients that shine in autumn. Read on to get your taste buds ready for some delicious dishes.

Joël Robuchon

At Joël Robuchon check out one of four tasting menus, each served with l’amuse-bouche and coffee or tea. A two-course menu of a main course and dessert starts at $109, or a two-course meal with an appetizer or soup and main course is $135.

Hungrier? Try the four-course menu for $168 with an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert, or the six-course menu for $215 with an appetizer, soup, two main courses, cheese and dessert. For reservations, call 702.891.7925. Joël Robuchon is open daily for dinner.

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House

At Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House, try a specially selected four-course menu for $65. For your first course, have the salt-baked Bosc pear and duck confit with baby mixed greens, toasted pistachios and warm brie cheese with brioche crostini and blood orange vinaigrette. Move on to the potato-crusted Hawaiian snapper on sweet potato ravioli, sautéed kale and tasso ham with a port wine demi-glace. Then save room for the pan-roasted monkfish and steamed Prince Edward Island mussels on whole wheat linguine with sauteed broccolini, roasted bell pepper and clam Bolognese. The meal finishes with peanut butter and jelly cake with strawberry coulis and fresh whipped cream. You can add an optional wine pairing for $40 per person. For reservations, call 702.891.7374. Pearl

Pearl is offering a three-course menu of Chinese cuisine for $49 per person. It starts with your choice of Szechuan hot and sour soup or sweet corn soup. Then comes the wok-fried spiny lobster tail and black pepper beef tenderloin, General Tso’s chicken and garden vegetable fried rice. Dessert is a tasting of raspberry chocolate cake. Grand Wok and Sushi Bar

At the Grand Wok and Sushi Bar, nosh on a $29 menu with your choice of miso soup, Vietnamese summer rolls with shrimp or a cucumber salad with sesame dressing for the first course; and beef tenderloin and asparagus in black pepper sauce, braised sea bass or shrimp and scallop with macadamia nuts in X.O. sauce for the second course. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

At L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, go for the $95 menu, a five-course exploration. Start with the  mussels and mimolette velouté with croutons. Then try the crispy langoustine fritter with basil pesto. Choose between the halibut in a pepper and tomato broth or the roasted chicken in a spicy green curry sauce and coconuts. The cheese course features a selection of imported varieties, but be sure to save room for the traditional tarts or ice cream and sorbet. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon is open for dinner daily. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Over at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, try the tasting menu for $45 per person. Start with your choice of marinated baby beets with Humboldt Fog cheese, pistachios, citrus vinaigrette and arugula or the wild mushroom soup with sourdough crostini, truffle oil and crème fraîche. For the second course, you have your choice of Mesquite-grilled shrimp with four-cheese basil tortellini and sun-dried tomatoes or the slow-braised beef short rib with sweet corn purée, rosemary gremolata and sautéed baby vegetables. Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak

At Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, you can find an $85 per person menu Sunday through Thursday from opening to 6:45 p.m. Start with you choice of appetizers such as shaved fennel with lemon and olive oil, Vermont Farm quail with quince saba or Italian buffalo mozzarella with hazelnuts Persian cucumber, watercress and ginger. For the main course, you have your choice of Prime beef flat iron grilled Angus skirt steak or diver sea Scallops with lemon vinaigrette. Side dishes include Yukon Gold potato purée with chive, organic baby shiitake mushrooms or Brentwood sweet corn with green onions. Diego

Start with your choice of drinks at Diego. Look for sangria, a Diego margarita on the rocks or blended or beer. Then choose an appetizer of steamed corn tamales filled with green chile and jack cheese topped with crema and queso fresca, a Diego house salad or braised beef taquitos with crema and and Guajillo salsa. For your entree, you have a decision among pan-roasted Atlantic salmon with a green olive, caper and roasted tomato sauce; enchiladas made with red chile-braised chicken, roasted tomato serrano-braised beef or cheese; tacos al carbon with your choice of garlic and lime-marinated chicken breast or red chile rubbed skirt steak with warm tortillas. Seablue by Michael Mina

Seablue by Michael Mina has a $49 per person tasting menu that starts with a Yellowtail Jack crudo, steamed Manila clams or chicken and chorizo empanada. Move on to the Seablue paella made with seasonal shellfish, rabbit, quail and chorizo, the Angus flat iron steak or the Arctic char. For dessert, try the chocolate peanut butter mouse or the devil’s food cake with caramel ice cream. You can add a sommelier wine pairing for $35 per person. For reservations, call 702.891.3486. Fiamma Trattoria & Bar

At Fiamma Trattoria & Bar, dive into a salad made with baby mesclun mix, red beets, white balsamic vinaigrette and candied walnuts, a caprese salad with imported buffalo mozzarella, baby tomatoes, basil and extra virgin olive oil or crispy calamari with peperoncini, zucchini, fresh lemon and parsley. For se condi as they say in Italian, try the salmon with marinated fennel and artichoke salad, the ravioli alla Fiorentina filled with fresh ricotta and spinach or the organic free-range chicken with wild mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. Shibuya

At Shibuya, you can start with edamame, followed by your choice of Asian field greens with cherry tomatoes and apple yuzu dressing or Kyoto miso soup. Then try the Kampachi sashimi, rock shrimp tempura with spicy aioli or the Yellowtail jalapeño roll. Move on to the Black Angus beef tenderloin with roasted Japanese mushrooms and a black truffle ponzu, a duo of pineapple miso salmon and shiro miso black cod or a tempura combination of tiger shrimp and assorted vegetables. Nobhill Tavern

Fall seems like the perfect time to try out Nobhill Tavern from Michael Mina. The $49 tasting menu starts with either a market salad topped with pumpkin seed brittle, bleu cheese, apple and maple-cider vinaigrette, a cream of mushroom soup or barbecue pork sliders with corn pudding and jalepeños. For the main course, select a grilled beef short rib with Anson Mills stone-ground grits and coleslaw, a chicken tetrazzini with truffled macaroni and cheese and onion rings or a Scottish salmon with potato salad, garlic sausage and mustard sauce. For dessert, try the apple crisp or the chocolate cake. You can pair your dinner with a sommelier wine pairing for an additional $35 per person. For reservations, call 702.891.7337. Nobhill Tavern is open daily for dinner.

Is a meal too much for you? Four of the restaurants have specials just for happy hour. Nobhill Tavern’s runs from 10 p.m. to midnight with your choice of $8 specialty cocktails, $4 beers and $8 snacks and finger food. West Wing has drink specials from 5 to 8 p.m.

Diego has specials Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the bar and lounge only. There you can nosh on guacamole for $3, queso fundido for $6, papas con queso for $5, Diego mini beef tortas for $6, chicken or skirt steak tacos for $2.50 and taquitos at three for $4, five for $6, 10 for $10. You can even find $5 draft beers and $7 sangria. At Seablue, you can find $1 oysters, $1 shrimp, half off lobster corn dogs and salt and pepper calamari along with $4 draft beers from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday through Friday.
