Miami Socialites Kick Off Fall Fashion Week At Icon Brickell

Ocean Drive Magazine kicked off its Fall Fashion Week at Icon Brickell last Tuesday, September 21 with an intimate pre-view of Versace’s latest looks for fall. Hosted by esteemed local ladies like Azucena Ciero, Ana Christina Defortuna and Adriana Castro, the event brought together an elite group of ladies, including Ocean Drive editor Suzy Buckley, to experience what Versace has in-store for the season along with Champagne and exquisite hors d’ouevre.

On Wednesday, guests were invited to “Discover Fashion” at the Gansevoort with a pool-deck runway show by the hotel’s boutiques, including Big Drop NYC, Curve Soleil, Inca and more. Fashions filled The Raleigh Hotel on Thursday for an informal fashion show by Perry Ellis. Jeffrey Donovan, star of USA’s Burn Notice, joined VIPs for light bites and cocktails as David Herwokitz, winner of Perry Ellis “Sexiest Guy Next Door” Facebook Contest, modeled the brand’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

A Fashion Week Finale closed out the week on Friday night with a VIP celebration at the Delano’s Florida Room hosted by Ocean Drive Magazine’s September cover model Amber Heard.
