Open every night in October (and additional dates November 5 & 6) from 7 p.m. to midnight Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. all other days of the week, Netherworld is the only place to be for blood-curdling chills and thrills. With almost 15 years of scaring the city, this year will no doubt follow suit and provide you with nightmares for months to come. Created by world-renowned and award-winning TV and movie professionals Billy Messina and Ben Armstrong, who have worked on some of the most popular horror films and franchises, Netherworld also employs actors who have worked in such films as last year’s sleeper hit Zombieland and the recent remake of Halloween II directed by horror aficionado Rob Zombie.
There are two new terrifying attractions this year, Gargoyle and Dead Salvage to keep the terror fresh and suspenseful. In Gargoyle mutant creatures hungry and preying for human flesh at all costs, are the stars of the show. Meanwhile in Dead Salvage, beware of the medical (and maniacal) terror known as “The Mangler” and his crazed assistants as they search for “test subjects.” $22 gets you entry into Gargoyle, if double thrills are more your speed, for $27 you get to experience both Gargoyle and Dead Salvage.
