10th Annual Little 5 Points Halloween Festival and Parade

On October 15th and 16th come out and celebrate Halloween in Atlanta’s trendiest spot Little 5 Points, as they host their annual festival and parade the comprises good times, scary sights, lively entertainment and of course, delicious food. Taking place at Findley Plaza, Euclid Avenue and Moreland Avenue, this year marks the special decade-long anniversary of the celebration that has become a Halloween tradition with Atlanta residents. You won’t want to miss all of the attractions and family fun guaranteed to bring out the inner child within. See you there!

There are three separate stages for music and live entertainment; the Findley Plaza Stage, Star Bar Stage and the Little 5 Points Center Stage provide views of nonstop entertainment from festival performers. The fun kicks off promptly at 5 p.m. Friday evening with performances every hour, starting with Cinetrope and followed by The Gazelles, Blue-Eyed Goodbyes, Walk from the Gallows, The Pinx and Prentice Suspension Group end the night’s entertainment at 10 p.m. Popular Little 5 Point fixtures Minette Magnifique are the emcees for the evening.

Saturday’s festivities begin much earlier at 12 p.m. with so many varying performances, musical acts and live shows, that there isn’t enough room to list them all here. However, trust me when I say that you will definitely not be bored, as there is something going on every minute to ensure that you have a spectacular time. The most important part of the festival is the much-anticipated Halloween parade, which kicks off in the streets at 4 p.m. Bring your best (and most creative costumes) ready to light up the Atlanta streets. Once the parade is done be sure to remain in costume because there is a costume contest awarding several prizes and other items to the winners. If you’re bringing the kids out let them experience enjoyable performances by the Imperial OPA Circus. An eclectic artist market and yummy food vendors are also things you want to sample while there. In addition, all proceeds from the event go directly back to the Little 5 Points neighborhood to ensure they keep bringing you some of the hottest events in the city. This event is free to the public. Don’t miss out!
