Veteran tailor David Heil is extending his brand with The KOI Collection by David August, featuring high fashion, custom, handmade shirts and accessories for urbane gentlemen.

What Made Him Haute: His custom suits are the reasons that some of Hollywood’s hautest men make the “Best Dressed” list, and his unique numbered dressing system makes even the fashion clueless seem, well, fashionable.
What Makes Him Haute Now: After two decades of custom-tailoring suits for stars, celebrities and athletes, Costa Mesa-based designer David August Heil is debuting a new line of shirts. His KOI line of Italian-made shirts will meet an innovative business plan from Heil. Heil representatives will make house and office calls taking client’s measurements. The KOI Collection by David August will debut in October and the shirts will retail in a range from $220 to $495.
